Sustain Me, A Play FULL Whole Life.

If you want a close relationship with someone, you have to be interested in them as a person.
This is called emotional intimacy. Here’s How To Create It:

There are 4 types of questions that help build emotional intimacy.
They are: 1. Feeling Questions 2. Interest Questions 3. Future Questions 4. Play Questions

Feeling Questions To Ask: - When’s the last time you felt excited or inspired? - When’s the last time you felt heard or understood? - Where do you feel the most at peace? - When do you feel the most connected to me?

Interest Questions To Ask: - What’s something you’re really interested in right now? - What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned this past year? - What is something you wish more people knew about you? - What do you remember loving as a child?

Future Questions To Ask: - What’s something you’re working towards now? -What area of your life do yo think will look most different in 5 years? - What’s something you want more of in your life? - What‘s something you want less of in your life?

Then be PLAY FULL.
Cheeky, provocative, silly, obtuse, weirdly joy FULL,
discover through LIGHT HEARTED play what lights the other up.
Release and realise what LIGHTS you up?
What shared in jokes LIGHT you BOTH UP?
In an innocently PLAY FULL way.

Then Actually LISTEN to the answers.
Don't judge, validate, approve, or anything like that.
Listen like you'd listen to your favorite song.
Hear the divine speaking through them.
This is the most generous gift you can offer both them and yourself.

Spending quality time to get to know people shows you care about their perspective, their opinions, and them as a human being.

It’s the basis of any sustainable emotional intimacy.
