How Old is Silence? What Does Silence Do? Are You Comfortable In Silence? Or Is It Too Spacious?
thichnhathanhquotecollective
I have the impression that many of us are afraid of silence. We're always taking in something-text, music, radio, television, or thoughts-to occupy the space. If quiet and space are so important for our happiness, why don't we make more room for them in our lives?

The #sanskritwordoftheweek is मोक्ष (mokṣa),
a noun meaning release or liberation.
It comes from the root √muc,
which means to "release" or "set free."
Traditionally mokṣa refers to the liberation or "release"
from the suffering of cyclic existence (saṃsāra),
and is the primary aim of most Indic yoga traditions.
Yogis who seek mokṣa are sometimes called mumukṣus,
"those desirous of mokṣa."
