The other night, when out to dinner,
We laughed with The Honest Mr 5 or 6 (or so)
who paid our table a visit. 
Christmas talk naturally came up
with he and his sweet friends
who milled eagerly around.

He said he checked Santa's "naughty" list EVERY night
And He Was (still) On It!

My how he made my heart swell. 
Such a sweet Cheeky Cherub who might be testing limits.... 
He was fully alive and present, having fun and in the moment.
How we loved his energy, smiling gently, confident and LOUD! 

I do hope Santa visits
I'm sure he will, 
as mum came and gently shepherded Him away. 
"One foot in front of the other". 


I Love Christmas.
