Before The Heavens
A Fairy Light Welcome as we made our way out to Honeymoon Gap at White Gums just outside Alice Springs, for the next creative inspiration of Desert Song Festival . A performance of musical and poetic musing shared with loved ones near and far beneath our Wonderous Milky Way. Composer, Timothy Coghill and Creative Director, Amy Dwight, a string orchestra and Alice Springs choir presented a magical evening. Laying in the sand, nestled in our swags, rug pulled up to our chins, eyes wide gazing upon the vastness of our glorious Milky Way, a vibrant light was seen as a smiling crescent moon tonight. An exquisite 90 minute performance as we drifted away on a surreal journey combining natural bush sounds, strings, bells, gongs and sublime voice.
